CELTIC and Rangers got their Euro campaigns off to a flier and tonight Aberdeen and Killie should make it four out of four.
Both have been handed favourable Europa League starters and only rustiness will prevent them from first-leg victories.
Aberdeen have home advantage against RoPS and would love to take at least a two-goal lead to the Arctic Circle next week.
The Finns have struggled all season and after 15 games lie third bottom so the Dons should be a good thing.
Derek McInnes’ men are just 1-7 with McBookie to win so consider the -1 handicap at 8-15.
On Tuesday I said best bet of the night was Rangers to win to nil at 3-4 and I fancy Aberdeen to do likewise at 8-13.
A 2-0 correct score looks about right and that pays 15-4 with McBookie.
I haven’t seen anyone price up first scorers yet but if you see them take Sam Cosgrove who has been on target in pre-season.
Killie travel to Rhyl to face Connah’s Quay Nomads – a side familiar to Scottish fans due to their participation in the Challenge Cup in the past two seasons.
They reached the Final last season where they lost 3-1 to Ross County and earlier beat Edinburgh City on penalties after a 1-1 home draw.
The previous season they enjoyed one-goal victories at Queen’s Park and Falkirk so their level looks to be lower Scottish Championship.
If Steve Clarke was still in charge I’d be all over Killie but the jury’s still out on new boss Angelo Alessio.
Luckily he’s only lost Jordan Jones so the players should be able to get the job done if he doesn’t change too much.
Killie are no bigger than 1-4 so again try them -1 at 8-11 with Betfred. No first scorers here either but if they appear take Scotland new boy Eamonn Brophy.
Recommended Bet
- Aberdeen -1/Killie -1 double
