STUTTGART let me down on Thursday but the Dundee United v St Mirren game went pretty much as I expected.
I tipped 0-0 at half-time and a full-time draw although in the second half in particular there were plenty of chances.
The Premiership place will be decided on Sunday and I’m calling my St Mirren to stay up Super Single winner but will deduct 3.8pts if it doesn’t go their way.
Stuttgart led twice in their promotion/relegation play-off but were pegged back both times by a dogged Union Berlin side who must be favourites to win the tie now at home.
Scott’s run of winners was also beaten by Stuttgart while there was no joy for Greg or kevinmac on the Dundee United game.
Well done to all the winners on Thursday and let’s know if you have any thoughts about Friday’s card.
French Ligue 1 finishes on Friday night with one issue to be settled – Caen or Amiens to be relegated. Caen welcome Bordeaux while Amiens host already relegated Guingamp so two home wins are possible and elsewhere it should be about goals.
Caen, two points behind and two goals worse off, must win then hope for the best. Luckily for them they face a Bordeaux side on a run of six defeats so they should pick up the points.
Amiens and Caen could feature on my Friday acca – the double pays 13-10 at BetVictor – but it won’t be until early afternoon. I need to finish Saturday’s write-up before spending more time looking at Friday games. Not much else for me to look at so will likely be a French double or treble and maybe a goals double or treble too.
