IT’S the return of the Champions League tonight and I expect Barcelona and Juventus to complete the jobs they started in the first legs on the road.
Barca have a 1-0 lead as they welcome Man United while Juventus drew 1-1 at Ajax.
In Tuesday’s Daily Record I’ve tipped Barca to win and over 2.5 goals and I’ve posted a separate Champions League preview.
Kevinmac has written detailed previews of Barcelona vs Man United and Juventus vs Ajax. Elsewhere there’s a huge game in the Premiership as third-bottom Cardiff travel to fourth-bottom Brighton. The Welsh can’t afford to lose this and will be heartened by Brighton’s 5-0 home defeat to Bournemouth at the weekend.
In the Scottish Championship Inverness, who have all but sealed a play-off spot, travel to a Morton side who will be in danger of the drop if they lose.
I’m putting up Barcelona and over 2.5 goals at Juventus v Ajax as a double and that will probably be my only bet.
On Monday Atalanta downed my treble at the first hurdle when they were held 0-0 at home to Atalanta despite having about 235 shots depending on what source you checked.
Well done at any winners including HullShaker on the Curzon Ashton game and Greg with his Scottish Reserves tips.
