GREAT stuff in Peru with Binacional running out 5-0 winners but there’s trouble brewing closer to home.
Bury vs Colchester
I’ve not the time to get fully into the politics now but there’s a cloud hanging over Gigg that is much more complex than the usual cold cover that blows down off the Pennines.
This isn’t just a blot on the landscape – it’s a big f*** off pill that is not uncommon but is so unfortunately timed it hurts.
For the first time in a long, long time the Shakers have not only been doing great – we’ve actually looked great and have blown pretty much everyone out of the water.
But football is a fickle game and when you live in the shadow of another 9 teams in a 30-mile radius that sit between the EPL and League Two then your fanbase and thus funds will always suffer.
So, once again, it looks looks like money and secure investment in Bury (or the lack off) will potentially ruin us – it’s not my platform here to talk about what’s going on but it stinks and sure as hell it will affect us today as it has done in the previous two games as more information leaks out.
One selection which pains me to post but I can potentially see a very decent Colchester side putting us to the sword as we travel the table in opposite directions.
Recommended Bet
- Colchester over 1.5 team goals
- (12-5, bet365) – 2pts
