THERE are loads of big teams in action on Sunday with Arsenal v Man United undoubtedly the game of the day.
United will be on a high after knocking PSG out of the Champions League and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already won at the Emirates in the FA Cup.
It won’t be easy but with the Gunners suffering in the Europa League at Rennes I fancy United to take the points and stay on course for a top-four finish that looked out of reach under Jose Mourinho.
Not decided if I’ll chance them as a Super Single or put them not to lose on a double or treble.
Liverpool are first up at 12 noon at home to Burnley and will be looking to wrap up the points early before concentrating on their trip to Bayern Munich who only won 6-0 on Saturday.
Chelsea welcome Wolves in the other game and this should be a cracker with the visitors playing better on the counter against top-half sides. Check out kevinmac’s Chelsea v Wolves preview.
Kicking off at the same time as Liverpool is Birmingham v Aston Villa in the Championship and kevinmac has posted a preview while there’s nothing in Scotland.
On the Continent there are plenty of big games to look and I’ll put up tips later or in the morning.
Saturday’s stars of the show were Scott Allot, Greg Browning, Desmond and McBookie‘s Damian Walker. Scott’s been in great form all year and both of his European trebles won at 37-10 and 31-10.
Greg napped a Stenhousemuir goal at evens and backed St Johnstone to beat their goal time and was one goal out on his treble.
Desmond’s feature teams to score 2+ landed at 5-2 as did his btts double at 2-1 and he had two out of three on the over 2.5 goals treble.
Damian picked out 10-1 and 4-1 first scorers so it was two out of three for him – Annan’s Tony Wallace at 10-1 was a great shout.
I said beforehand I didn’t like the card and I reduced my stakes. My Super Single Dumbarton won at 8-5 but I was denied a profit on the day when Dundee United conceded a last-minute winner to Partick Thistle.
Well done to everyone with winners on Saturday and let’s hope for more of the same on Sunday.
