IT was a billed as a Super Sunday but it was anything but with no goals at Wembley or Old Trafford in the big games.
It was better in Scotland with 10 goals in the matches involving Celtic and Rangers and on the Continent Greg landed his 20+ goals bets with the others losers.
HullShaker also posted a winner and I made a tiny profit on the day thanks to an over 2.5 goals treble in matches at Willem, Dortmund and Levante.
My two 1pt Super Singles were losers but I’m claiming I was robbed. First of all I read Bobby Madden was the ref at Hamilton v Rangers and tipped a Hamilton red but he wasn’t the man in the middle and anyway all the fire was taken out of the game with the Ibrox men scoring three early goals.
The second one was Sergio Aguero to score first in the EFL Cup Final but when he netted but VAR backed up the offside decision. He could have been level – or inches on the wrong side.
Monday’s big game is a “derby” between Nottm Forest and Derby with Nathan saying last week this would be a home win as his team are struggling.
Elsewhere there are decent games on the Continent including Lazio v Udinese, Girona v Real Sociedad, RB Leipzig v Hoffenheim and in Portugal both Benfica and Sporting are in action.
I’ll look to put up at least one tip around lunchtime and well done to all the winners yesterday.
