IT’s already been a decent day with a loads of goals in the 1pm English Development matches that I mentioned last night and the QPR vs Charlton game I previewed this morning for over 3.5 goals finished 6-2.
It’s Belgium I’ll be focusing on tonight and there are the usual 8 matches to pick from. If I’m being honest a case could be made for almost all the games to see goals but I’m sticking with the match that involves a team I often back.
Excel Mouscron Res vs Kortrijk Res (6.30pm)
Usually feel like I’m repeating myself every Monday with it comes to Kortrijk but when it comes to goals there few team who score and conceded as many as they do.
The league is just getting back into full swing after the winter break which makes it a bit harder as you don’t have much to go in in terms of recent performances.
Despite that these two sides have seen plenty of goals this season – Kortrijk’s last 8 games have all seen both team score and that’s a common theme in their matches. They have only managed 4 clean sheets in their last 58 matches so there’s a chance Mouscron will score.
They may not be great defensively but they score plenty of goals – 15 of their last 19 games away from home have seen at least 4 goals and when you look back over the last 12-18 months their percentage of games seeing over 3.5 goals and BTTS is around 80 per cent,
The last 10 meetings between the two have yielded 56 goals which tells its own story.
Backing goals again tonight and I’d be surprised if we didn’t see both sides finding the net.
Recommended Bet
- Over 3.5 match goals
- (10-11, bet365)
All seven 6.30pm kick-offs also worth some loose change all over 1.5 first-half goals at 94-1.
