IT’S a tough card and not a great deal to go at but the Icelandic Pre-season Cup game in Reykjavik offers a couple of bets that may be worth a look for low stakes.
NO scientifically advanced write-up or reasoning required here – just the fact I’ve been a massive advocate of Nordic goals in the latter stages for years now.
The Iceman cometh (in the 2nd half hopefully)
Although it’s not a given it’s frightening how many times the rule has been applied successfully in Icelandic football at different levels … none more so than by the top-flight sides!
Goals for both on the cards
I can well see both on the scoresheet as these two big-hitters meet and H2Hs have been fairly consistent so hopefully, it’ll be a close 1st half giving way to 2nd half goals!
Interesting to note those pesky bookmakers have now banished corner markets from Valur’s pre-season games but I’m sure they’ll be back for the Urvalsdeild proper so keep an eye out.
For this one though it’s goals and more specifically late goals.
KR Reykjavik v Valur (9pm)
- KR 2nd half highest scoring half (11-8, bet365) – 1pt
- Valur 2nd half highest scoring half (7-5, bet365) – 1pt
