Spurs haven’t appeared in Europe’s premier club competition since the 2019-20 edition, while Marseille find themselves back at Europe’s top table following a one year absence,
Igor Tudor’s team will be quietly confident of improving on their recent efforts this time around, although they could hardly have asked for a tougher opening test with a trip to Tottenham.
