Anyone’s Legend got away with it again on Tuesday when they defeated (2-1) Weibo Gaming. Even though they earned the win, it wasn’t because Anyone’s Legends played well, but because Weibo Gaming did not deserve to come out on top.
Still, despite that victory, we still consider Anyone’s Legends a fraudulent team that should not be 4-4 with how they’re playing. The current meta seems to suit them, as it allows AL to flip it early and then focus on scaling – but that won’t work in the long run.
Ultra Prime have managed to take maps as underdogs this split and are playing better than in spring, but this is not a good team, and most of their success in this split was due to their opponents’ mistakes. This might happen again on Saturday, but that’s a big IF, and it hardly explains why Ultra Prime are priced as the favourite.
Anyone’s Legends are not a team we like backing, but they’re a good bet against Ultra Prime at plus money.

Weibo Gaming were in an excellent position to defeat Anyone’s Legend on Tuesday but decided to screw around. Their overall approach to the game and drafting seemed very disrespectful, and it turned around to bite them.
Perhaps Weibo Gaming have learned not to play with their food, but it’s not like their loss against AL was the first game in which Weibo Gaming threw away their chances of winning. Talking about flawed approaches to the games, Weibo Gaming’s next opponents, Bilibili Gaming, continue to struggle with poor neutral objective control, which has cost them many wins this season.
Since this is a clash between two shaky teams, you can’t know what will happen. If Weibo find a way to punish Bilibili Gaming’s poor objective setup and lacklustre vision control, it could be a 2-0 sweep, but we’ve yet to see enough from Weibo to believe they can make it past BLG without dropping a map.

Royal Never Give Up are 4-1 with a 64% map win rate (9-5), which doesn’t look too good, but we have to remember that RNG are taking the early weeks of LPL 2022 Summer as an opportunity to expand the champions pool. They might lose a map here and there, but RNG get it done, and that’s what matters.
Top Esports are 6-1, and their only defeat came during the first week against JD Gaming (1-2), which is hardly concerning since JDG are one the strongest team in the league. Since then, TES have dropped just two maps across six games against FunPlus Phoenix and Weibo Gaming.
This is a match that can easily go both ways, so there is no value backing either team at the offered LoL betting odds. Instead, we’re on under 25.5 kills. Neither team will want to risk too much, and knowing that they both like to scale, it’s unlikely for either map to end with a high score.
