After a first-set scare, the Tunisians rebounded back in tremendous style 3-6,6-1,6-1. She will now face super mum Tatiana Maria in the semi-final who earned a famous victory against Julie Niemeier 4-6,6-2,7-5 on Court No1.
For our day 10 Wimbledon tips, I’m going to smash it in the direction of the men’s quarter-final draw featuring Rafael Nadal against Taylor Fritz. Second seed Nadal has come through the last two matches without dropping a set. The Spaniard will be looking for more of the same to put this match beyond the American early but Fritz may have other plans.
Taylor Fritz defeated Nadal this year when beating him in the final at Indian Wells.
I’m going for the upset again in a tense entertaining thriller with the American celebrating a place in the semis after a hard-fought victory at the Spaniard and fans’ favourite expense.
