The European RLCS Dacia Spring Cup kicks off for the first of a three-day main event where 16 of the best European teams will battle it out for the US$100,000 prize pool. Here are eSportBet.com’s best bets and predictions for three series on day one of the tournament.

Dignitas begin the event as the number two ranked team in the EU rankings with 2211 RLCS Points only sitting behind Team BDS who has 2,532 RLCS points. The Dignitas boys will be looking for a better showing than their playoffs round one exit at the RLCS Winter Major in Los Angeles in March. Dignitas have been quite good over the last 12 months with wins at the RLCS Season 9 Europe event and the RLCS Fall EU Event 2, which earned them over $120,000 in prize money.
The new team that joins the EU region for this event is suhhh. They were only created in April of this year and they finished 3rd-5th in the closed qualifier which gained them their spot in the Main Event. The team has only participated in three B-Tier events and they now will take their place in their first S-Tier event and it could be a great chance for them to gain some experience against one of Europe’s best teams.
Dignitas will be short favourites in this series and they deserve to be. We suggest taking Dignitas at the -1.5 match line, currently sitting at $1.72 with Betway.

Evil Geniuses will be happy to see the back of the most recently disbanded Team Queso, as they have been the team to knock out Evil Geniuses at their past three events. In the last three events that Evil Geniuses have participated in they have had some solid results with; a 7th-8th finish at the Winter Major, 4th at the Copa de Rocket League EU Event and 3rd at the Premier Cup EU event. The 5th-ranked team in the EU RLCS points table will be out to keep up their run of good results with another solid performance at this event.
Team Liquid qualified for the Main Event through the Closed Qualifier with a 6th-place finish and an overall solid qualification stage. Team Liquid are playing with a relatively new roster after they added two of their three players in February of this year and they have only played in three series together so far. The Liquid roster are still getting to know each other and hence they may only have a short stay in this event.
Evil Geniuses are a team in good form and therefore we believe that they will be taking this series in comprehensive fashion. We suggest taking Evil Geniuses at the -1.5 match line.

The no.1-ranked team in Europe, Team BDS, will begin the event as the favourites and considering their finish to 2021 where they didn’t finish any event outside the final four there is no reason to disagree. Although the BDS roster have not been as dominant in 2022 with their 9th-12th finish at the Copa de Rocket League EU Event and their 7th-8th finish at the RLCS Winter Major, you shouldn’t be counting out a team that has won over US$650,000 in prize money in just over two years of competing at the professional level.
Wolves Esports will be competing in their first ever S-Tier event here. They have been competing in qualifiers and mostly B-Tier events over the last 12 months, so this will be a massive step up for the UK based team.
Team BDS should be way too good for Wolves Esports, and therefore we will taking the favourites at the match line of -2.5, despite the relatively short odds of $1.57.
