COVE RANGERS can heap more misery on an absolute car crash of a season for Falkirk by winning there on Saturday.
The Aberdeen side are involved in a thrilling title race with Airdrie in League One and look like they will just get over the line.
Paul Hartley’s men are unbeaten in the league since October, the last time they failed to score in the league was November and they have been relentless – at one stage they won nine games in a row in all competitions.
They have drawn their last two games in the league at Airdrie and Queen’s Park, but that’s two good points they picked up at difficult venues.
And they should relish playing a Falkirk side who just cannot seem to do anything right. Appointing Martin Rennie and signing Leigh Griffiths – none of it appears to have worked.
Their last two home games have seen them spanked by Airdrie and Montrose and they threw in a defeat at Peterhead for good measure.
Surely it’s only reputation that has stopped Cove being heavy odds-on and the evens will do nicely.
HEARTS can draw first blood in their back-to-back Edinburgh derby battle with Hibs on Saturday at Tynecastle. An unusual Saturday afternoon kick off is more important for Shaun Maloney’s men than Hearts, with the visitors, who may need a win to reach the top six, depending on results elsewhere.
It’s a real worry for Hibs where they get their goals from now with Scotland star Kevin Nisbet out for the season and that’s not a concern Robbie Neilson’s men have.
There’s a reason there’s a 14-point gap between the pair and Hearts are usually very, very strong at home. The even money odds should be backed.
CALEY THISTLE are back on the winning trail after a sticky patch and they are solid at 7/5 to win at Ayr United.
Billy Dodds’ side went through a dodgy patch with 11 games in a row without a win, but they’ve now won three games in a row against Arbroath, Raith Rovers and Dunfermline.
Lee Bullen’s men have failed to win a home game in six and have lost four of them. They’ve won just one of their last six games and Inverness look like they add to this run.
