We’re at the midway stage of our Cheltenham Tipster Competition and things were a bit tougher on Day Two.
There was no fairytale ending for Tiger Roll as stablemate Delta Work just got the better of him up the hill and that cost a few entrants a couple of points. Aside from that it was a mixed day for punters with a couple of favourites winning but also some big winners which was reflected in Tuesday’s low points tallies
Day Two Results
It couldn’t have been any tighter in the competition on Day Two with no fewer than six members tying for the top spot on 13 points. But it was Ged72 who led the way with three winners on the day to earn himself 15 points. Well done! Uktenpin leads the way in overall Championship Tipster race with 38 points. Nearest challenger is mulldog on 31 then trampie and Rors on 29 and 28 points respectively, so it’s a big day on Wednesday…
Day Three Entries
So, here we go with Day Three and if you didn’t enter oin previous days you can still get involved…
The competition is pretty straight-forward, we focus on the first 6 races each day at the Festival, you just need to predict who will win each of them. You’ll get 5 points if your horse wins, 3 points for second place and 1 point for third. The person with the most points each day will win a £25 free bet at The Pools. In the event of a draw, the person with the highest total SPs will win. If there’s still a tie we’ll pick a winner at random from the highest scorers.
How to enter the Cheltenham Tipster Competition
To enter the competition you need to list your six horse and quote the odds from The Pools‘ site in the comments section below. The competition starts with Tuesday’s card and what your entry should look like:
1.30 – My Horse (x/x The Pools)
2.10 – My Horse (x/x The Pools)

Collect the most points throughout the Festival and you’ll be crowned Champion Tipster.
