Bordeaux vs Brest – Both Teams to Score
Two sides who are only separated by two points meet at the Stade Matmut-Atlantique as Bordeaux host Brest.
Bordeaux come into with only one defeat in their last five and that came against league leaders PSG. After failing to win any of their first 11 Ligue 1 tussles, Brest come into this winning their last three games.
Brest are the only side in Ligue 1 to score in every game this season, but have yet to keep a clean sheets on their travels. Bordeaux have scored in nine of their last 10 matches but are the only side yet to keep a clean sheet in Ligue 1.
Both Bordeaux and Brest rarely fail to find the back of the net but with neither side tight at the back, I’m expecting goals with both sides contributing.
Monaco vs Strasbourg – Over 2.5 Goals
Two sides who are only separated by goal difference meet at the Stade Louis II as Monaco host Strasbourg.
Monaco came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with champions Lille to extend their unbeaten run at home to four, whereas Strasbourg salvaged a 1-1 draw with Reims last time out to make it just one defeat in their last six.
Monaco have scored 11 goals in their last four games at the Stade Louis II, with all four going over 2.5 goals. Strasbourg have only failed to score once in their last 13, but they’ve kept only one clean sheet in their six away games.
Monaco’s matches at home tend to be more open, with all seven seeing at least two goals and with Strasbourg being the leagues third highest scorers, I’m expecting goals at the Stade Louis II, with at least three being scored.
AC Milan to Score 2+
AC Milan will be looking to bounce back from their first defeat in Serie A this season as they play host to Sassuolo at San Siro.
Milan will move above Napoli at least for a few hours with a win, whereas Sassuolo lie in 13th position, and are only six points above the relegation zone.
Only city rivals Inter have put scored AC Milan this season, with the Rossoneri scoring 29 goals from their opening 13 Serie A matches and will fancy their chances of adding to that as they face a Sassuolo side yet to keep a clean sheet on the road.
Milan have won 5/6 at home, scoring 13 goals and I fancy them to score at least twice against a Sassuolo side who’ve conceded 2+ in five of their six away games in Serie A.
Eintracht Frankfurt vs Union Berlin – Both Teams to Score
Two sides who were in action in Europe on Thursday night meet at the Deutsche Bank Park as Eintracht Frankfurt host Union Berlin.
Frankfurt come into this after successive victories away to both Greuther Fürth and Freiburg, whereas Union defeated city rivals Hertha 2-0 in the Berlin derby.
Both Frankfurt and Union have scored in 23 of their 26 combined Bundesliga matches this season but have struggled for clean sheets, with the hosts conceding in each of their last four home games, and the capital club conceding in all five of their away matches.
Both teams to score has landed in each of Frankfurt’s last four home games and all five of Union Berlin’s away matches and I can envisage both sides netting once more at the Deutsche Bank Park.
