Friday’s Football Bet of the Day see’s me focus on two sides who are both at home in their respective leagues and whom I expect to secure routine victories.
ADO Den Haag vs Dordrecht
🇳🇱 Eerste Divisie
⏰ Friday 26th November, 19:00
Two sides at opposite of the table meet at the Cars Jeans Stadion as ADO Den Haag host Dordrecht. The hosts come into this in 5th place, but are only three points off Excelsior in 2nd. Dordrecht on the other hand, are rooted to the foot of the table, two points off Top Oss.
ADO won away to Telstar 0-2 last time out to make it three wins in a row for the boys from The Hague. Den Haag have been been strong at home this season, winning five out of seven, with their two defeats coming against 2nd placed Excelsior and 3rd placed Emmen. In those five at home, Den Haag have scored 11 goals, scoring on multiple occasions in all five. Den Haag are unbeaten in their six matches against the leagues bottom eight sides, winning four.
Dordrecht suffered yet another defeat last time out as De Graafschap thumped them 0-4. Prior to that, Dordrecht were also hammered 5-1 away to Eindhoven, meaning they’ve now lost six of their last seven away games in the division, conceding 21 goals and conceding on multiple occasions in all seven of those matches. Dordrecht have collected only 10 points so far this campaign with half of them coming in their first three matches, meaning they’ve lost 10 of their last 13 matches. Dordrecht have the joint worst defensive record in the Eerste Divisie, conceding 36 goals in their 16 matches.
Union Saint-Gilloise vs OH Leuven
🇧🇪 Pro League
⏰ Friday 26th November, 19:45
In form Union Saint-Gilloise play host to OH Leuven on Friday evening at the Stade Joseph Mariën. The hosts lead the way in Belgium, seven points clear of both Antwerp and Club Brugge. Leuven are 13th in the table but are only four points outside the European playoff spots.
Union Saint-Gilloise have been in scintillating form in the last few weeks, with them winning each of their last six games, scoring a whopping 23 goals. Seven of those goals came in their last fixture, as they thumped Oostende 1-7 on the road. Union have been strong at home, winning five of their seven matches, only losing to the two sides directly below them in the league. Union are the leagues top scorers by a distance with 40 and in all 11 of their victories this term, they have scored on multiple occasions.
OH Leuven lost at home to 15th placed RFC Seraing 1-3 last time out in what was their first defeat in seven. Whilst Leuven had went six games unbeaten, they won only two of them with them drawing the other four. Leuven are yet to win on their travels this season and have conceded 14 goals in their seven away games. They are yet to keep a clean sheet on the road and have conceded on multiple occasions in five of their last six.
Bet of the Day
ADO Den Haag should record a comfortable win against a struggling Dordrecht side at home. The visitors are on a bad run at the moment, losing 10 of their last 13 matches and should succumb to defeat away to a Den Haag side who’ve won each of their last three league match and four of their last five at home. Dordrecht have the joint worst defence in the league and ADO should be able to score at least twice in a routine victory. Surprise league leaders Union Saint-Gilloise have been in superb form in recent weeks and are seven points clear at the top. The hosts have won each of their last six matches, scoring 23 goals and I’m backing them to be too good for an OH Leuven side who are yet to win or keep a clean sheet on their travels. Union Saint-Gilloise are the leagues top scorers with 40 and with them scoring 2+ in all 11 of their victories this term, I’m backing them to do the same here.
- ADO Den Haag to win & over 1.5 goals
- Union Saint-Gilloise to win & over 1.5 goals
- Double Pays 21/20 (Betway)
