Storm to Make Every Yard of the Running
A Golden Jacket finalist at Crayford back in February, Ragtime Storm has not found things quite so easy since subsequently until last week. She bounced back to winning form in some style over this 592m trip for Dan Brabon.
She is a class act and while trap 6 is wider than she really wants to be, her natural pace from the lids can see her overcome that. Philfen Afina in 3 has some solid efforts here from time to time and looks the forecast link at 8.23.

Brabon can double up with sprinter Ballybrack Blink over 238m at 18.48. He lacks a look at this track which is always a little bit of a worry but he looks the most natural trapper in the field.
As such, he should get out on the front end and can learn the track from there. He looks like running plenty wide enough around the turns but his straight line speed can get him through.
Bloomfield to Take the Feature of the Night
One who showed up well the first time up here was Vinegarhill John, winning his 592m heat last week. He very much gave the impression that the look would do him the power of good, not handling the bends fluently but still doing enough to score.
Entitled to improve for that experience, if he traps in the same manner that he did seven nights back, he should be away and gone from his rivals for Jason Bloomfield in the 19.44.
Fletcher’s Poker Face to Crown Him King
For a 238m sprint contest, the 19.24 contains a real lack of natural sprinters. Poker King is the exception to this rule, producing some smart times over two bends at Henlow of late.
He clocked a nice time in his first look around here in a trial and wouldn’t need to step up much on that to gain a win in this company for Stephen Fletcher.
Tessa to Improve for Recent Return
Ballymac Tessa is yet to get her head in front in open company but she is fully deserving to do so with this representing an excellent opportunity for Keith Robins’s charge to do exactly that.
She missed three months of racing ahead of a return at Romford last week. She looked in need of that to sharpen her up, fading late in the piece. This looks more suitable and with the cobwebs blown away, she can get her head in front.
