Manchester City stood up to the test set by title rivals Chelsea last weekend, now they must do the same at Anfield to re-take top spot in the Premier League.
Pep Guardiola’s side have had the upper hand in this fixture, losing just one of the last seven meetings between the sides so Jurgen Klopp will feel a Reds win is long overdue.
His Liverpool side are the only unbeaten team remaining in the top flight and a win would take them two points clear at the summit and four ahead of City. Despite that the bookies make the visitors favourites to win at 7/5, while Liverpool are 15/8.
Both teams have scored in seven of the last nine clashes and in a game where it could go either way that might be the best route to take although it’s only 8/11.
Leicester‘s only win in their last six has been against Championship side Millwall and they face a tricky trip to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace who appear to be heading in the right direction under Patrick Viera. the Foxes have suffered defeat at West Ham, Brighton and Legia Warsaw already this season so the 2/1 on Palace appeals. As does the 11/10 on the Eagles in the Draw No Bet market.
In Scotland both Stephen Glass and Ange Postecoglou will be desperate for a win at Pittodrie. The Dons are winless in seven while Celtic have won just twice in their last eight.
The match sees Hoops’ legend Scott Brown line up against his former team for the first time since he departed Celtic Park after 14 trophy-laden years. The midfield dynamo is 15/8 to pick up a yellow card and 11/1 to score.
Cards could be the best way to attack this one. It should be fiesty affair but over 3.5 cards pays just 8/11 so go for Aberdeen and Celtic both to receive 2 or more cards at 13/8 on a Bet365 BetBuilder.
At Ibrox, Hibernian put their unbeaten start to the season on the line. Rangers have yet to truly click in to gear but will regain top spot from Hearts with a win. They’ve not been as defensively sound as they were last season, so a Hibs goal at 4/5 looks a good option.
The Super Singles were rubbish yesterday but we did manage a 43/10 Over 2.5 Goals Treble to get us out of jail. Well done too to Jamie Kennedy who landed his third winning acca of the week with a winning 5/1 four-fold goals accumulator. Don’t miss his Acca for Sunday
