MVV vs Eindhoven- over 2.5 goals
The third game that looks good for goals in the Dutch second tier is MVV who are at home to Eindhoven.
Just like Ajax II, MVV’s games average a staggering 4.33 goals per match so far this season. That is partly due to their 7-1 thrashing last time out away to recently relegated Emmen.
MVV have scored in five of their games this season 9 goals. No side has conceded more in the league than MVV, conceding 17 times already.
Eindhoven are the third team to score in all six of their games this season scoring 11 goals. They’ve also conceded 11 goals with 6 of them coming in their last two games.
Cercle Brugge vs Eupen – Both Teams to Score
Cercle Brugge host Eupen on Friday night to kick off match-day 8. Coming into this, only three points separate both sides.
Cercle Brugge should come into this with confidence, coming from two down to win 2-4 away to Zulte Waregem.
That takes their goal tally up to 9 with them only failing to score once so far this season. The hosts have conceded in their last six game though, conceding 9 times.
Despite sitting in 6th, Eupen have still yet to keep a clean sheet this season, conceding 9 goals. They have scored 13 goals though, failing to score only once.
Newcastle United vs Leeds United- Both Teams to Score
Newcastle United host Leeds United at St James’ Park on Friday Night Football. Both sides come into this winless and have the worst two defences in the league.
Despite being winless, Newcastle have scored in three of their four league games, scoring 5 goals. Four of those goals have came in their two games at St James’ Park.
Leeds have also scored in three of their four league games this season with that 0-3 defeat against Liverpool last time out the first time they failed to score this season.
As mentioned, both sides have the worst defensive records in the league, conceding 12 and 11 respectively. Last seasons fixtures between the both saw 10 goals being scored, with both sides scoring in both meetings.
