They have been fairly consistent at finding the back of the net this season scoring 13 goals in 7 games. They’ve scored 2+ goals in 6 of those games including all 4 at home.
Strømsgodset come into this recording a 2-1 home win against then league leaders Rosenborg. However, all 7 points gained from their 5 games this season have came at home. 2 defeats in both of their away games so far including a disappointing 3-0 defeat away to Brann in their last away game. Last season Strømsgodset lost all 4 games against the top 4, conceding 2+ goals in all 4 defeats including a 3-2 defeat against Glimt.

Matchday 2 in Group A concludes as Italy host Switzerland in Rome. Italy started off with an impressive 3-0 win in their opening match against Turkey, whereas Switzerland were perhaps a little unfortunate to only pick up a 1-1 draw with Wales.
Italy arguably put in the performance of the tournament so far with an impressive 3-0 win over Turkey in the tournaments curtain raiser. Many were predicting Turkey to be sticky opponents for the Azzuri but 3 second half goals without reply was more than enough for all 3 points. Italy managed 24 shots at goal (no more side had more in the opening round of matches) and weren’t really tested defensively as goalkeeper Donnarumma more or less had a watching brief.
Switzerland only managed a 1-1 draw against Wales in a game where they would’ve looked to gain all 3 points. They did deserve to win and if it wasn’t for a lack of clinical finishing and an inspired performance from Wales goalkeeper Danny Ward they would’ve done. Switzerland will most like sit back and try to frustrate Italy and hit the Azzuri on the counter. Not only did Switzerland play a day later than Italy but they also have had to travel from Azerbaijan.

Norwegian favourites Bodø/Glimt have been a regular for punters in recent times for their goals and I’m once again backing them to score a minimum of 2 goals and claim all 3 points at home. Italy looked impressive in their opener and I’m backing them to win and virtually secure top spot.
