Lille Poised For Glory
It has been an unbelievable season for Christoph Galtier’s side who are one game away from their first Ligue 1 title in a decade.
They have built their success this season on a very sturdy defence, shipping just 22 goals all season, although they will be without the suspended Jose Fonte for their crucial final fixture.
Up front, the goals of Burak Yilmaz have aided them tremendously and he is 21/20 to score anytime against Angers.
Angers are one of only three teams to beat Lille this season, so the title favourites will be wary, but in many respects, they are the perfect opponents.
Only bottom side Dijon have scored fewer goals this season, so Lille to win to nil at 20/21 seems a good bet.
PSG to Fall Agonisingly Short
PSG are not used to watching other teams lift the Ligue 1 title, but they may have to settle for a silver medal on Sunday.
Only one other team has won the French top-flight title since 2013 – Monaco in 2016 – such has been the dominance of the oil-rich Parisiens.
However, this season has been far from straightforward – Pochettino came in to replace Thomas Tuchel in early January and they have consistently swapped places with Lille at the top.
Five home losses could be the defining factor in their concession of the title, with the Parc des Princes being far from a fortress.
Fitness issues have plagued Neymar all season, though Kylian Mbappe has been in excellent goalscoring form.
PSG still possess the most potent attack in the division and they can go into their game away at Brest with confidence, given they won the Coupe de France on Wednesday and are in the middle of a six-game unbeaten league run.
They can be backed 53/20 to beat Brest, who could be relegated, by a three-goal margin.
Nantes Set For Great Escape
A month ago, no one would have given Nantes a chance of survival, but a run of four straight wins has presented them with a golden opportunity.
It has been a chaotic season with four managers at the helm – including ex-France boss Raymond Domenech – who had a two-month stint in charge. However, it is under the stewardship of Antoine Kombouare that they have really shone.
That run of four wins has come against sides near the bottom of the table and now they are one point away from safety.
The final assignment is a home game against 2012 Ligue 1 winners Montpellier, who have nothing to play for.
Montpellier are eighth, so it will be a tough test, but the intensity and momentum of Nantes should be enough to secure them a win.
They are 20/43 to win and have the extra motivation of knowing that a victory will definitely keep them up, due to the fact Strasbourg and Lorient play each other and therefore at least one of them has to drop points.
