SlipsTips takes a look at the Bet Builder market ahead of Athletic Bilbao’s La Liga encounter with Real Valladolid on Wednesday night.

Athletic Bilbao will be looking to land back-to-back La Liga wins for the first time this season when Real Valladolid come calling on Wednesday night.
Los Leones have undergone a marked improvement since Marcelino took charge at the turn of the year, with their most notable scalp to date coming against league leaders Atletico Madrid on Sunday.
That triumph propelled Bilbao back into the top-10 and a victory against Valladolid could see the Basque outfit enter the European qualification conservation.
Real Valladolid, on the other hand, are fighting for their La Liga lives, with Sergio’s side slipping into the bottom-three following Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Cadiz.
Given that consistency hasn’t been something associated with either of these respective sides in recent months I’m going to steer clear of the match result market here and instead head to Bet 365‘s Bet Builder.
If we combine under four match goals, over zero Athletic Bilbao goals and over five match corners we will be presented with a backable 4/5 shot.
Six of Athletic Bilbao’s last eight La Liga assignments have featured fewer than three match goals, while under 2.5 goals backers would have been rewarded in five of Real Valladolid’s last six league games.
What’s more, 10 of Bilbao’s 16 league matches at their Basque base this term have generated two or fewer strikes, so I’m more than happy to oppose goals at the San Mames Stadium this midweek.
Having said that, Athletic Bilbao have made the net bulge in eight of their last nine home matches and that does not bode well for relegation-threatened Real Valladolid who have recorded just one clean sheet across their last 15 La Liga outings.
With that in mind, I’m happy to back the hosts to notch at least once on Wednesday night, but in order to nudge up the price, I’ll also throw over five match corners into the mix.
Marcelino’s men are averaging 5.47 flag kicks per game this season – the third-highest tally in the division – and it’s also worth noting that the above-mentioned Bet Builder has banked in four of Real Valladolid’s last five matches.
