Peterborough to score 2+
Things have gone a bit awry for Peterborough of late, just one win in six isn’t league winning form but they’re still clinging on to second place with Sunderland breathing down their necks and can keep one step ahead with a win at home to Accrington.
Posh have the best home record in the division and average over two goals per game at London Road, failing to score just once on their own patch.
Accrington have conceded 10 in their last four and look destined for a mid-table finish having won just twoe in their last nine. Back Peterborough to get a couple of goals.
Edinburgh City v Stenhousemuir – Over 2.5 Goals
Edinburgh City have returned to action with two 2-1 wins from two putting them within two points of second place.
Visitors Stenhousemuir will also be pleased with their form following the enforced break. A win over Albion Rovers last week was to be expected and they’ll be bouyed by their Scottish Cup win over League One side Peterhead in midweek to set up a home tie with Kilmarnock.
Edinburgh are the highest scorers in League Two with 24 goals and having conceded 15 goals their matches feature 3.55 goals per game on average. Stenny aren’t too far behind with 3.00 per match.
With both teams in scoring form 4/5 looks a good price for Over 2.5 Goals here.
Dundee v Dunfermline – Over 2.5 Goals
Dundee and Dunfermline shared six goals when they met in December, in fact there’s been 19 goals in the last four meetings between the two sides.
With both sides tied in second place on 30 points there’s plenty at stake when they meet again at Dens Park on Saturday. Dundee have featured regularly in goals accas lately due to their ability to score and concede in equal measure but they’ve now kept two clean sheets in their last three matches.
Before we get carried away, those were against bottom sides Alloa and Abroath. Dunfermline pose more of a threat and BTTS is very possible again here. The value lies in the 9/10 on there being Over 2.5 Goals, a result that’s landed in 14 of 20 matches so far.
Belgium to Score 2+
Belgium overpowered Wales earlier in the week and can secure another three points on the road in Prague on Saturday.
With a vast array of talent in their squad the Belgians have scored two or more in their last five matches and all against decent opposition. Czech Republic are a tier or two below their most illustrious opponents and will need to produce a big performance to get a result. They knock in six against lowly Estonia on Thursday but conceded two in the process.
Belgium might need to score a couple to win this one but are more than capable.
