AC Milan vs Crotone (Sunday, 14:00)
AC Milan have been knocked off their perch in Serie A but they have the chance to move back to the summit of the standings when they play host to Crotone on Sunday.
I’ve already penned a separate match preview for this fixture which can be found here, however, I also like the look of a Bet Builder double that involves the Rossoneri.
AC Milan got back to winning ways last weekend and I fully expect Stefano Pioli’s side to put relegation-threatened Crotone to the sword at the San Siro on Sunday.
You won’t get rich backing AC Milan to win here at a general 2/9 so instead I’m going to opt for a home success and over one AC Milan goal as the first half of my Bet Builder double.
Milan have made the net bulge at least twice in 18/20 Serie A assignments this season, not to mention they have bagged a brace in 8/10 home matches this term.
With that in mind, coupled with the fact that bottom-placed Crotone have the worst defensive record in the division I’ll side with a home success and over one match goal as part one of the double.
Lazio vs Cagliari (Sunday, 19:45)
Lazio have won each of their last five league matches and they will fancy their chances of extending that sequence when Cagliari come to the capital on Sunday night.
Simeone Inzaghi’s in-form side made a significant statement of intent to their top-four rivals last Sunday by brilliantly dismantling Atalanta 3-1 in Bergamo.
While Lazio may not be title contenders like they were last season, they have boosted their hopes of securing another Champions League berth and they should have too much class for a Cagliari side who are winless in 13 matches.
There is little value in backing Lazio at widely available quotes of 4/11 but I’m going to back the Romans to conquer Cagliari and score a couple of goals into the bargain.
Inzaghi’s Eagles have chalked up two or more strikes in each of their last five Italian top-flight tussles and they have made the net ripple at least twice in 12/20 Serie A assignments this season.
Cagliari, meanwhile, are housed in the relegation zone and have kept just two clean sheets in 20 games this term so I’m happy to add a Lazio win and over one Lazio goal to the Bet Builder double, a nice looking 6/5 shot with Bet 365.
