Saturday’s will never be the same around here and it was with an empty feeling and a heavy heart that most us had our usual weekend flutter.
Having no Super Single, Top Treble or Acca Tips from Mr Fixit’s will never feel right but thanks to everyone that contributed their own tips and as usual there was no shortage of winners. Well done to anyone that got a return and to The Caddy who’s 28/1 each-way tip Andy Sullivan finished 2nd, which also won his NAP at 11/10 to finish in the Top 20 at the Golf in Dubai Championship.
The tributes for Mr Fixit continued to flood in to the site and it was great to see Paul’s beloved Cydebank observe a minute’s silence in his honour ahead of their match against Rutherglen Glencairn. Of course, with Paul looking down they won 4-0 to maintain their unbeaten start to the season and stay top of the league.
"FIFA did request a minute's silence this week for the passing of a legend, we reckon Paul Jain fits into that bracket."

Charitable Donations in Paul’s Memory
As promised, we have now set up TWO JustGiving pages where you can make donations to causes close to Mr Fixit’s heart.
One is The Bubble Foundation who provided care for Paul’s daughter, Amy, who sadly passed away at just six months old with a rare genetic condition.
The other is St Margaret of Scotland Hospice, nominated by the board of Clydebank FC as their designated fund-raising beneficiary.
You can find out more about how to make a donation here.
Planning for the future
As difficult as things have been in the past week or so we’ve tried our level best to keep things ticking over here on the site. The comments that we have received leaves us in no doubt that we should do all we can to keep the site going, not just in Paul’s honour but for the many people who contribute, frequent or just pass through the site.
Please keep an eye out for a post about the future of the site and how YOU can help to shape it.
