AFTER a manic Sunday that saw 20 Nations League games take place punters can have a breather before the next set of fixtures.
Bradford vs Harrogate in League One and Wrexham vs Maidenhead in the National League are the main matches while there are a couple of friendlies and a France vs Slovakia Under-21 qualifier.
So for most punters it will be a day of rest before looking at Tuesday’s Nations League games that include Germany vs Switzerland and Ukraine vs Spain as well World Cup qualifiers such as Bolivia vs Argentina and Ecuador vs Uruguay.
Well done to any winners on Sunday including those who backed England to beat Belgium.
Scotland notched another clean sheet as they beat Slovakia 1-0 to stay top of their section and while the football hasn’t been thrilling at least Steve Clarke has sorted out the defence.
I took both to score at Wembley but double it with France vs Portugal that unfortunately ended 0-0.
Almost half the games ended in draws and as we approach the third game in a week for most teams there could be many more stalemates.
