THERE’S just one day to go until football restarts and we have another high-profile victim of the strict guidelines laid down in Germany.
Augsburg coach Heiko Herrlich will miss the restart of the Bundesliga after he left the team hotel to buy toothpaste.
His side entertain Wolfsburg and Herrlich was to take charge of his first game after being appointed in March.
He will have be tested twice and give negative results each time before he can rejoin the team.
It’s seems a crazy scenario but I’m sure there will be more instances in the coming weeks.
There will be wall-to-wall coverage on BT sport starting with the big derby between Dortmund and Schalke while the late game sees Borussia M’gladbach travel to Eintracht Frankfurt.
Champions Bayern Munich head to Union Berlin on Sunday while on Monday night we have Leverkusen heading to struggling Werder Bremen.
Many punters will tune in to the Bundesliga Goals Show which will bring viewers all of the action and all of the goals as they happen from every single Saturday game.
We plan to preview every game so check them out – most of them are up already.
And if you haven’t done so already why not enter our Bundesliga last man standing contest.
My Bundesliga tips will be up later and it’s week 9 in Belarus with seven matches across the weekend featured on this week’s Gambla Podcast.
Well done to all the winners on Thursday including those who got involved in a remarkable 9-4 win for Torpedo Zhodino reserves against Gorodeya.
Tonight the respective first teams meet so hopefully we’ll see loads more goals.
