BELARUS football has been rocked by a scare but the Bundesliga remain confident of restarting on Saturday.
We’ve all got a bit of a soft spot for the Belarussians – especially Greg – as they played on through the crisis but two games have been postponed after players showed symptoms.
The top-flight game between FC Minsk and Neman Grodno on Friday and the First Division mach between Arsenal Dzerzhinsk and leaders Lokomotiv Gomel, scheduled for Saturday, have fallen with Minsk and Lokomotiv players suffering.
It means we need the Bundesliga more than ever and plans to start safely behind closed doors haven’t been altered.
German football will of course feature heavily on the site in the run-up to the weekend but predicting outcomes won’t be easy.
Playing with no fans can create surprise results and of course players won’t be match fit after such a long lay-off.
So take it easy with bets, especially on week one, but enjoy the live action wherever you are watching.
Well done to all winners on Monday and it was good to see French racing back even if there were a couple of shocks for hot favourites.
