THE Scottish Premiership takes top billing tonight with 5 games being played and I’m fairly certain Aberdeen will be delighted to be back at Rugby Park as they look to inflict yet another defeat on poor Kilmarnock.
Their record against the Ayrshire side is incredible and I reckon they can maintain their ownership of them again tonight.
Elsewhere, St Johnstone will be looking to close the gap on Hibs and Livi for a top-six place as they travel to Paisley to play a St Mirren side looking to ease their relegation worries.
Kilmarnock vs Aberdeen (KO 7.45pm)
It was absolute heartache for Killie fans the last time these two met as Aberdeen scored an injury time equaliser then 2 last mintute goals in extra time to seal their place in the next round of the Scottish Cup.
It was sickening not just because of the way it happened but because it was Aberdeen, a club who Aberdeen have owned on the park for the best part of 7 years and as I said in in my preview of the last match Kilmarnock sit proudly on Derek McInnes’s mantelpiece at home (it’s no exaggeration).
Aberdeen’s record against Kilmarnock is somewhat extraordinary. McInnes has managed Aberdeen in 27 matches against Killie losing just once which is incredible (20 wins, 6 draws) and they travel here off the back of a really good performance at St Mirren in the Scottish Cup to reach yet another semi-final.
It’s a crucial game for both sides tonight with Killie having top-six aspirations and Aberdeen looking to get back up to third.
I think Aberdeen can continue this incredible run of results against Killie and we should see two goals scored.
Recommended Bet:
- Aberdeen Double Chance / Over 1.5 match goals
- 23/20 (bet365) (NAP)
Motherwell vs Ross County (KO 7.45pm)
St Mirren vs St Johnstone (KO 7.45pm)
Two matches in which I feel we can see 2 goals – Ross County are in good shape and can net at Motherwell and if they do 2 goals should land and with both sides needing points in Paisley I like the look over the over 1.5 goals double
Recommended Bet:
- Over 1.5 match goals double
- 19/20 (Ladbrokes)
