THE only online bookie that lists SPFL and first-scorer prices for every game are McBookie.
McBookie’s Damian Walker is back with his first-scorer tips and he’s also challenging punters to pick their own.
Every week one person with a correct prediction will be chosen at random to win a £10 bet – and if you backed your tip with McBookie with at least a fiver they’ll double the prize to £20.
You can comment with your pick here and give any reasoning but to enter the contest you have to email mrfixit@dailyrecord.co.uk. Last week’s winner will be announced later

Here is Damian with this weekend’s selections.
He says: “I’m starting this weekend in the Premiership with a side that had to wait until October 26 before they registered their first league win of the season.
“And things didn’t get much better for St Johnstone after that as the Perth Saints won just three of their first 15 league games.
“Not surprisingly after that McBookie had single-figure quotes about them finishing bottom, but since December 14 they have won five, drawn three and lost just two (one of which was against Celtic).
“And in their last two outings St Johnstone have taken care of Aberdeen and Motherwell who share third place on 41 points.
“That run has taken them 12 points off bottom with a game in hand and they are now 50-1 for automatic relegation.
“While St Johnstone have been improving as the season goes on Saturday’s opponents, Ross County, have been going in the other direction.
“The Staggies have registered just a single win in all competitions since December 21 and have lost seven. They have gone from being odds on for a top-six finish to just 8-1 to finish bottom.
St Johnstone are 29-20 favourites for their trip to the Highlands but I’d have them a good bit shorter and there ought to be some decent value in a first scorer for them.
“Striker Callum Hendry has seven goals from 23 appearances this season but more importantly scored in his last two games. McBookie make him a 5-1 shot to score the opening goal of the game.
“In League Two there is a huge game with leaders and title favourites Cove Rangers at home to second-place Edinburgh City.
“Just three points separate the pair after Cove’s surprising 3-0 defeat against Elgin last weekend. And that loss followed a disappointing result at Albion Rovers, where they squandered a 2-0 lead conceding goals in the 82nd and 86th minutes.
“So in effect, Cove have let in five straight goals. The pressure is sure to be on them at home to Edinburgh City and the visitors will be desperate to make up for their opening-day embarrassment at losing 5-0 in the first league game of the season.
“The Citizens look miles too big at 4-1 given the tiny differences in league points and Cove’s recent setbacks.
“Edinburgh City’s Danny Handling has banging in the goals this season with nine league goals from 20 games and scored two last weekend in the 3-0 win over Annan Athletic.
“Because Edinburgh City are such a big price, Handling can be backed at 15-2 with McBookie to score the opener.
“Staying in League Two and how would you fancy taking 6-5 about an away team, who have lost their last six matches and conceded 18 goals in the process? Probably not.
“But that is exactly the price bookies are serving up about Annan Athletic for their trip to Brechin City. True, the home side sit bottom of the table and are in poor form themselves but have to be the value at 9-5.
“Finding a Brechin first goalscorer is not so easy given they score just over a goal a game when at home. However, Forfar’s Andy Jackson arrived on loan in the transfer window and ought to make a difference at this level. The veteran striker is 11-2 with McBookie to score the game’s first goal.”
Recommended Bets
