WE’VE got another packed midweek card on Tuesday with the Aston Villa vs Leicester EFL Cup semi-final the main event.
There’s a pile of Football League games and two Scottish Cup replays – Hibs v Dundee United and Falkirk v Arbroath.
On the Continent there are cup games in France, Italy, Spain and Holland so loads to consider.
Leicester cost me plenty when they failed to beat Villa in the home leg but after that 1-1 draw I reckon the Foxed will get the job done tonight.
Brendan Rodgers’ side are well short at 4-9 with bet365 to qualify and I’ll be more confident if Jamie Vardy is given the go-ahead to start.
Leicester are the better team and won 4-1 at Villa Park in the league in December – in the twos meetings this season they had 44 shots on goal which is a massive stat.
The 4-9 is so short sthat I’m chancing the Foxes to win at 4-5 with Marathonbet.
There are two Scottish Cup replays and I expect Hibs to beat Dundee United at the second attempt.
Hibs were the superior team in a 2-2 draw at Tannadice and as long as they take care of Lawrence Shankland should win in 90 minutes. With 26-goal Shankland such a threat, Hibs and both to score can land at 12-5 with McBookie.
Falkirk have been super strong at home in League One and will fancy their chances of knocking out Championship Arbroath and are 10-11 at McBookie. However, the Smokies deserve respect and are challenging for a play-off spot so this will be tight.
I’ll put up top tips in the morning after studying form and stats in the RFO.
Monday was a no bet day for me but well done to any winners including Scott with a nice 11-10 members bet success, HullShaker and maccathered.
