GOAL Kings Lommel Reserves did us proud yet again yesterday as they ran out 5-3 winners to make it 95 goals in just 15 matches this season. I’ve been raving about them for a while now and rightly so.
Incredibly the bookies seem to be blind to their goal scoring antics with over 1.5 first half goals priced up at an embarrassingly high 4/5 (was 3-4 HT)
On to todays football, its a lovely small card, but I tell you what, its an incredibly difficult card to call, Most the EPL games could go any way and even as you move down the leagues it doesn’t get any easier.
I’m going for goals at Preston’s trip to Barnsley and an over 1.5 goals accumulator.
Barnsley vs Preston (KO 7.45)
If Barnsley are to avoid the drop into League One, their home form will play a big part in that. The Yorkshire side have collected 18 of their 24 point at Oakwell.
They have lost just one of their last 9 at home and have collected 11 points from their last 5 games – they often have to win the hard way having failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 13.
Both teams to score has landed in their last 10 home games and they welcome a Preston side who have hopes of joining the big boys next season.
They are well in with a chance of securing a play off spot and will be pleased to have stopped a run of 5 games without a win as they won 2-1 against Huddersfield at the weekend.
They don’t keep many sheets on the road and I can’t see them keeping them one tonight, especially given Barnsley’s excellent recent home form.
A crucial game for both clubs and with neither looking to clever defensively, a good chance we’ll see both sides score, which should lead us to over 2.5 goals.
Recommended Bet:
- Over 2.5 goals
- 83/100 (Mararthonbet) (NAP)
Over 1.5 Goals 5-fold
Its a tricky card tonight but picked out 5 matches which should all deliver 2 + goals
- Aston Villa v Watford
- Chelsea v Arsenal
- Colchester v Bradford
- Leyton Orient v Northampton
- Lyon v Lille
All 5 matches over 1.5 goals – 11/4 (BoyleSports)
