ALL eyes will be on Baku as Chelsea and Arsenal meet in the Europa League Final, however, for me it’s all about the Austrian Erste Division as we have a rare full card with all 8 matches being played on the same day, kicking off at the same time.
DC and I have a had a good amount of success in this league and with this being the penultimate round of fixtures we should see plenty of goals from a league in which all 16 teams are seeing an average of 2.5+ goals per match
Austria 2. Liga – 8 matches (6.10pm)
After 28 matches it’s still all to play of at the top and bottom of the league as Wattens and Reid battle it out to end the season as league winners while there are 5 clubs fighting to avoid the relegation play-off spot.
There are some cracking looking games with 3 of the league’s highest scorers playing at home and 7 of the 8 matches involving clubs involved in the promotion and relegation battle we should see no shortage of goals
Matches at Wattens, Juniors OO and Austria Vienna amateurs have yielded 45, 54 and 62 goals this season and that tally will be higher come full-time.
No surprise the Nap is the total goals market, the only surprise is Sky Bet are offering it which I wasn’t expecting. They offered total match goals markets on the Russian, Italian and Brazilian games on Sunday and all three delivered.
The Russian Premier League, despite seeing 4 of the 8 games deliver just 5 goals, still landed thanks to 3 of the games each seeing 6+ goals and that’s why I love this market.
You don’t need every match to deliver, just a couple going high and with 8 matches in a league that sees plenty of goals, I’d expect at least three of them to see 4 or 5+ goals. You can take 25+ goals at 4/5 but I’m happy to go with 27 at 6/4.
Recommended Bets
- 27+ total goals scored
- 6/4 (Sky Bet) (NAP)
- All 8 matches over 1.5 goals
- 3/1 (Sky Bet)
