NOT a great looking card but from the Championship there are 7 matches with the Nottingham Forest vs Aston Villa match taking my fancy for goals.
It’s a crucial match for these former giants and if either has any aspirations of making the playoffs, a win tonight is a must.
Nottingham Forest vs Aston Villa (7.45pm)
Martin O’Neil’s Forest side are starting to find a bit of form and if they are to sneak into the play off’s, their home form will play a big part in that.
Its incredibly tight with 11 clubs all vying for the last three play-off spots and with Forest winning their last 4 at home, they’ll feel they can collect enough points to grab one of those spots.
They blew Hull away with a terrific second half display to run out 3-0 winners on Saturday and they welcome a Villa side who collected a vital three points in their midlands derby with Birmingham on Sunday.
Draws have killed Villa this season and with just 1 win in 10 before the start of March their season looked over but a draw at stoke and back to back wins has given them a frightening chance. They need to win this tonight
These two fought out the game of the season so far back in Nov with an incredible 5-5 draw . 6 of the last 7 meetings between the sides have seen over 2.5 goals and both sides score and whilst I’m Not suggesting another 5-5, given the importance of the game to both sides we should see both sides going for it.
Recommended Bet:
- Over 2.5 goals
- 101/100 (MarathonBet) (NAP)
The 7 matches tonight all look like there could see at least two goals as we move into the business end of the season.
All 7 English Championship games over 1.5 goals pays 13/2 (Skybet)
