ALL eyes will be on the UCL matches tonight but there are plenty of lower league English games to get stuck into and there are already a few good write ups on the site. QPR are at home again against a WBA side who are in fine form and we should see goals there. My main focus today will be on the Dundee United Reserves vs Hamilton Reserves match this afternoon.
Dundee United Res vs Hamilton Res (KO 1pm)
As you know I’m a huge fan of Reserve / Development football for goals and today see’s Dundee United host Hamilton at St Andrews.
Team news is crucial now since the league resorted back to Reserve Football rather than u21 ‘s with clubs now able to field who ever they want with no age restrictions.
United brought 11 new players in during the January transfer and boss Robbie Nielson will be making sure those that didn’t feature at the weekend get some game time here
They played city rivals Dundee in a reserve match last week and thumped them 7-0, Sow, Smith, Stanton and Fyvie all started and if we see a similar side fielded today, I fear for Hamilton.
The visitors for years now have always had an impressive youth set up and were always one of the top development sides in country but they are struggling this year, losing goals and have lost 4 of their 5 away matches
United’s games this season have seen goals galore (5-1 4-3 4-3 1-4 1-2 0-7) 35 goals in their last 6 games and with Hamilton leaking goals and Untied likely to field a strong side I would be surprised if we didn’t see goas here.
You were getting 2/5 on United last night (its now 1/5). The bookies aren’t daft though and have set markets accordingly. You can get over 3.5 goals still with Skybet, and although its shorter than what I’d normally post it’s still back able or you can take the Asian goal line over 4 goals at 10/11 (Money back if only 4 goals)
Recommended Bets:
- Over 3.5 match goals
- 4/6 (Skybet) NAP)
- Over 4.5 goals
- 6/4 (Bet365)
