The opening salvo from the Chilean top-flight adds a bit of spice into Friday night’s card and I’m focussing on 3 countries matches for goals at both ends…
VÍKINGUR REYKJAVÍK VS. FH
(7.00pm)
AH, good old FH Hafnarfjordur – the once unbeatable Icelandic giants reduced to a half-decent outfit who just a cannot keep their sheets clean.
No stats needed but the preponderence of matches in which they have lost a lead or just conceded in general is scary; Vikingur are no mugs and have netted in 100% of the last 7 H2H’s whilst 5 of those 7 saw them score and concede!
I can see both netting again here tonight at a more than reasonable looking price.
Recommended bets:
- Both teams to score (4/6, bet365)
- 4 Points
UNIÓN LA CALERA VS. PALESTINO
(9.00pm)
Of all the South and Central American leagues, Chile have been right up there (along with Costa Rica) for matches seeing both to net with the old Chilean favourite of ‘Btts 1st half’ being a particularly strong market these last few years.
Of the last 7 H2H’s, 100% have seen both sides on the scoresheet with a total.of 9 from the last 13 over an 8 year spell have gotten the gteen light for the same – not too shabby and the prices for the same again look good to me.
Recommended bets:
For any speculative punters out there looking for a longer shot then include the above but factor in the 2 Welsh Premier games kicking off at 7.45pm:
VÍKINGUR REYKJAVÍK VS. FH
UNIÓN LA CALERA VS. PALESTINO
CEFN DRUIDS VS. ABERYSTWYTH
LLANELLI VS. CARMARTHEN
- Both teams to score 4-fold (8/1, bet365)
- 1 Point
