FEB 19: EUROPEAN FOOTBALL TIPS

I GOT it spot on with Real Madrid -3 last night and reckon Barcelona can cover the -1  handicap tonight.

Barcelona, 2-7 at Ladbrokes, are bidding to avoid back-to-back league defeats for the first time since May 2009 and should take care of Valencia at home.

Barca beat their opponents 2-0 to reach the Spanish Cup Final a fortnight ago and are 6-1 with William Hill to repeat the result. Barca -1 pays 3-4 with Sportingbet and Boylesports.

Alexis Sanchez is the man in form and after a deadly double at Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League he is 9-2 at Unibet to break the deadlock. Lionel Messi is as usual the favourite at 5-2 with Unibet.

Atletico Madrid are still to concede a domestic goal since Diego Simeone took charge and are a tempting 1-1 with Stan James to win at relegation-haunted Sporting Gijon.

An impressive Europa League triumph win at Lazio strengthens the case for Atletico who are bang in form.

In Serie A I’ll be on an Udinese side who rested stars in the Europa League in midweek as they continue to put the emphasis on their chase for a Champions League slot.

Udinese are 1-1 at Sportingbet, William Hill and Unibet to beat a Cagliari side that’s won just once in 13 visits to their rivals but they will be without top scorer Antonio Di Natale.

Genoa, 1-1 at Bet365, have won their last three home matches 3-2 and should see off Chievo in another game with goals.

European treble

Barcelona -1

Atletico Madrid

Udinese
