SATURDAY wasn’t the best day for this market and one game with both scoring in the Championship summed it up.

I’ve scoured the European card for possible winners on Sunday and hopefully this fivefold comes in.

So let’s start with in La Liga with the clash between Athletic Bilbao and Malaga.

Both teams’ form has been a bit erratic and it should be evenly matched between sides pushing for a Champions League spot.

Nine of the last 11 meetings between the sides have featured both scoring so history is on our side. Athletic’s last four have brought up this bet, with 19 goals scored, and both have hit the target in Malag#s last five with 18 goals produced.

Next look a couple of Italian games. There have been more goals than usual in Italy this season and 30 have been hammered in during Genoa’s last six games. In four of the last five the over 3.5 market paid out.

Three out of Genoa’s last four have seen both score and this has happened in three of the last four meetings between the teams.

Udinese v Cagfliari has a history of goals. Four of the last five meetings have paid out on both to score and totalled 19 goals.

The last seven Udinese matches have witness both scoring so this can be No.8.

Next it’s off to France for Bordeaux v Lyon. It’s difficult to ignore a side who won a thriller 5-4 at champions Lille last week. On Sunday they entertain another top side Lyon whose last three have featured both to score.

Five of the last seven meetings between the sides have seen both net and it was 3-1 to Lyon earlier in the season. If Bordeaux play like they did last week it should be a high scorer.

Finally, I’ve had some success on Bundesliga 2 and I’m back there on Sunday. It was a toss up between 1860 Munich v Fortuna Dusseldorf and Aachen v Hansa Rostock and I’ve settled on the latter.

Aachen’s last five have seen both score and four of the matches have ended in score draws. There’s not much between the teams but having netted and conceded in their last three I expect more of the same from Rostock.
