England 12/1 to Win Euro 2012

Following England’s 1-0 victory over Spain in a friendly at Wembley Stadium yesterday, England remain at 12/1 to win Euro 2012 in Poland/Ukraine next summer.

Frank Lampard scored the winner shortly after the break when he nodded in from almost on the goal line following Darren Bent’s header from a James Milner free kick that came away off the inside of the post.

David Villa later fired wide from a tight angle after taking the ball around Joe Hart. He later hit the inside of the post before Cesc Fabregas fired wide with a good opportunity late on.

Spain are 5/2 favourites to defend the European Championship title they won in 2008. Germany are 7/2 second favourites, whilst World Cup runners up Netherlands are a tasty 7/1.
